Translating Knowledge into Innovation Dynamics
Purpose
IFKAD 2024 aims to explore the theory and practice of how organizations translate knowledge into innovation dynamics and technologies to enhance organizational value creation capacity and improve business performance through innovative processes, products and digital transformation.
Companies need to combine existing internal knowledge, acquire external knowledge, and create new knowledge to succeed in the competitive business arena. Turning a firm’s knowledge assets into new and valuable prototypes, processes, technologies, products or services is essential for sustainable growth, technological and economic progress, and competitive advantage. The translation of knowledge into innovation dynamics can take many different forms, and it is important for any firm, from startups to SMEs and large organizations, in any industry and economic sector, involving strategic, managerial, organizational, and operational aspects.
At the 19th IFKAD edition, we aim to enhance theory and practice by sharing findings and experiences. Our goal is to stimulate academic, managerial, and policy discussions that highlight the importance of translating knowledge into action. We also aim to develop organizational capacity for continuous innovation, transformation, and embedding knowledge into the creation of new advanced technologies.
In the past 20 years, IFKAD has become a leading international scientific forum for understanding and sharing insights on the role of knowledge in creating company value. We invite you to contribute to IFKAD 2024 in Madrid, where we aim to advance our understanding of knowledge management theories, approaches, models, and tools to develop innovative organizational and technological solutions. Join us in tackling complex business and socio-economic challenges for sustainable micro, meso, and macro-level competitiveness.
IFKAD 2024 aims to provide valuable insights to help leaders, managers, and policymakers see their organizations as knowledge-intensive systems. The goal is to develop practices and tools to manage knowledge assets as drivers of sustainable growth and wealth creation.
