doctoral Consortium
Doctoral Consortium is a specific track of the IFKAD conference dedicated to discussing the works of doctoral students. The idea is to provide a forum in which doctoral students are provided with particularly constructive feedback for developing their projects. All consortium participants receive written review comments on their paper by a selected member of Forum scientific committee.
The aims of the Doctoral Consortium include the following:
- Encourage doctoral students in their research efforts by providing advice on work in progress and direct feedback from peers as well as senior researchers
- Facilitate networking and discussions among doctoral students
- Provide advice on writing a good dissertation
Submitted papers should relate to the topic of knowledge management, intellectual capital and innovation for value creation, and or more widely to the main theme of IFKAD 2025 “Knowledge Futures: AI, Technology, and the New Business Paradigm“.
Accepted candidates for the Consortium will submit a research paper on his/her dissertation and give a 15 minute presentation followed by a feedback discussion. In order to encourage workshop interaction, all attendees will be chosen one presentation for which they will act as a discussant.
The submission criteria for Doctoral Consortium papers are the same as for other academic papers. However, participants in the Doctoral Consortium are asked to submit papers related to their dissertation. All the papers will be published in conference proceedings and therefore they should be in the format of an academic research paper. Regarding the presentation it is encouraged that authors position their papers or ideas into a wider setting of their dissertation.
When submitting your abstract, please indicate clearly if you are submitting your work for the PhD Consortium.
